Special Theorem about Right Triangles

You may be wondering why this theorem is in the quadrilaterals section instead of the triangle section.  The reason for this stems from special parallelograms that have just be discussed.  With the diagonals of rectangles and squares bisecting each other, it makes more sense to introduce this idea here instead of in an earlier activity.  There are three important theorems that need our attention:

  1. The midpoint of the hypotenuse of a right triangle is equidistant from the three vertices.

Median of a right Triangle from the right angle to the hypotenuse.
